Meet Gina

With over 20 years’ experience, I teach yoga that supports a wide range of bodies, abilities, and experience levels. My classes focus on mindful movement, breath, and relaxation, with an emphasis on ailments and progress over time rather than perfection.

I continue to train and learn as part of my own ongoing yoga journey and am fully qualified and insured in movement, breathing, relaxation, and meditation.

New to the Studio?

Whether it’s your first time on a mat or your first time in a while, here is a guide to help you prepare for a comfortable and relaxing start.

I’m not flexible - can I still do yoga?

Absolutely. Yoga isn’t about touching your toes; it’s about the journey down. My classes are specifically designed to help with stiffness, and we can adapt every pose to suit your body’s restrictions. It’s a personal practice, not a competition.

What can I expect in a typical class?

We focus on individual attention in a small group setting. Every session follows a mindful flow:

  • Warm-up: Gentle stretches to tune into your breath and soften the body.
  • Postures: Mindful movement designed to build strength, balance, co-ordination, core stability, and focus.
  • Breathwork: Using the breath to calm the nervous system, focus the mind, and find your rhythm.
  • Relaxation: A dedicated space to be still, allowing the body to rejuvenate and heal.

What if I have an injury or medical condition?

Your safety is my priority. For any serious conditions, please check with your GP first. I will provide a consultation form before your first session so we can discuss your goals and any modifications you might need to ensure you move comfortably.

What should I wear?

There’s no dress code here – just wear comfortable, loose clothing you can move in. Layers are a good idea so you stay warm during relaxation. We practice barefoot, and yes, even PJs are perfectly acceptable!

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

If you have your own mat, feel free to bring it. If not, there are plenty of high-quality mats available to borrow at no extra cost.

Blocks, bricks, and blankets are also provided in the studio, though you’re welcome to bring your own – especially a blanket to keep warm during relaxation.

Is there parking at the studio?

Yes, there is plenty of free street parking available directly outside. We kindly ask that you be mindful of our neighbours by ensuring you do not park on or across any residential driveways.

Can I eat before class?

To ensure you’re comfortable during movement, it’s best to avoid a heavy meal at least two hours before the class begins.

Are you qualified?

Yes. I have over 20 years of experience and hold multiple certifications in movement, breathwork, and meditation. I continue to train and learn as part of my own journey and am fully insured for your peace of mind.

Note: I occasionally offer gentle hands-on adjustments to help with alignment.
Please let me know if this is not appropriate for you.
